Our international client with a Shared Service Center in Prague is currently looking for a General Ledger Accounting Team Leader to lead their accounting department responsible for the EMEA region.
As the GL Accounting Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
- Performing and leading end-to-end accounting activities for the EMEA region
- Leading a small accounting team of accountants
- Resolving complex accounting issues
- Ensuring the timely completion of monthly processes
- Ensuring that process documentation, manuals, and guidelines are complete and up-to-date
- Continuous process optimization through digitization and automation
Požadavky
- Complex accounting experience needed ideally from an SSC
- Experience with US-GAAP needed
- Proven record of successful leadership and management experience
- Relevant educational background
- Fluent English (C1)
- Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
- CPA/ ACCA qualification is a plus
- SAP and HFM experience is an advantage
